Group and label what you can verify
Assign a reference to each cable or clearly defined group. Record quantity, readable markings, visible connector descriptions and documented lengths. If length is estimated, label it as such. Do not uncoil, move or disconnect installed cables solely for the listing; ask authorized site personnel to identify what is available.
Separate installed wiring from sale accessories
Mark whether cables are loose accessories, remain attached to the set or form part of the building installation. Confirm which items the owner is offering. A photograph of connections does not establish that the associated wiring transfers with the equipment. Keep unresolved scope visible until the responsible parties agree.
Describe evidence of condition
Photograph visible wear or damage and include existing test or inspection records if they identify the same items. Avoid calling cables tested, certified or suitable for a particular application without supporting evidence. A readable rating or connector style does not by itself establish current condition.
Reconcile counts at collection
Use the same references on the final included-equipment list and handover record. Record missing pieces or substitutions before they affect the offer. If the buyer wants a different cable package, obtain a revised scope rather than treating similar-looking items as equivalent. Keep identification photos with the final inventory.
