Selling an industrial generator involves more than a manufacturer name and a price. Buyers need equipment identity, credible condition information, records, and a realistic removal plan. SellMyGen is being built to make that information easier to collect and compare.
Our intended role
SellMyGen is developing an intermediary service connecting equipment owners with interested buyers. We do not represent the submitted generators as inventory we own. A company mentioned in educational material should not be assumed to be an approved buyer or a SellMyGen partner.
Practical information, clear limits
Our guide library is published under SellMyGen Editorial Team. It focuses on documenting equipment, preparing photos, comparing offer terms, and planning pickup. Guides are not equipment inspections, certified appraisals, or promises of a sale price.
Building a useful market record
The long-term goal is to learn from documented bids and completed sales. An unaccepted bid is different from a verified sale, and removal costs can change the comparison. The current site does not provide a validated price guide or automated appraisal. Future market reporting would require careful handling of confidential information.
